Join UCLA Mindful’s Director, Diana Winston, and other guest teachers live online for a weekly opportunity to practice together and learn about different aspects of mindfulness. Each week we will explore a new theme or topic in mindfulness. 

Topics may include self-compassion, working with judgments, obstacles to meditation, dealing with difficult emotions, mindfulness in challenging times, the spectrum of awareness, and much more.

Director of UCLA Mindful

Diana Winston is the Director of UCLA Mindful, the author of The Little Book of Being: Practices and Guidance for Uncovering your Natural Awareness, and the co-author, with Susan Smalley PhD, of Fully Present, the Science, Art and Practice of Mindfulness.  She has taught mindfulness for health and well-being since 1993 in a variety of settings including the medical and mental health field, and in universities, businesses, non-profits, and schools.

Bhanu Joy Harrison, LCSW, SEP's passion is designing and teaching workshops on mindful living, nervous system regulation, embodiment practices and working with challenging emotions, trauma, and chronic pain. She loves teaching those new to mindfulness as well as providing continuing education for bodyworkers, social workers and counselors.
