Advanced-Loving Kindness Study Group

Diana Winston

Join Diana Winston May-November 2025

In this study group, we'll take a deep dive into the practice of loving-kindness, exploring the multiple types of loving kindness practices.

In this class we will:

  • Discover ways the practice can be used to cultivate concentration—including absorption states.
  • Identify its benefit for working with challenging emotions
  • Understand the relationship to mindfulness practice and how loving-kindness can be used to cultivate insight
  • Explore loving-kindness as a facet of awareness itself
  • Integrate it into our daily life
  • Touch upon other related heart-based qualities

Through lecture, meditations, dialogue, and guided and relational exercises, we will deepen our understanding and embodiment of loving-kindness through a six-month study group format.
