The Division of Geriatrics in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine is recruiting for multiple faculty positions in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the level of Instructor, Assistant, Associate and or full Professor ranks (rank and step commensurate with experience). The positions will include various amounts of ambulatory primary care and consultation practice and inpatient and consult attending responsibilities. Other responsibilities will include teaching UCLA medical students, medicine house-staff, and geriatric fellows. Positions may be based at the main UCLA campus in Westwood, community-based practices in greater Los Angeles, or at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center, a county-health center in the San Fernando Valley. An M.D. or D.O. is required. Applicants must be board eligible or board certified in Geriatrics.

Rank and step commensurate with experience. The successful applicant is expected to conduct research and submit research grants leading to independence as an investigator. The position will include various amounts of ambulatory primary care, consultation practice, inpatient and consult attending responsibilities in the UCLA Healthcare System. Other responsibilities will include teaching UCLA medical students, medicine housestaff, and geriatric fellows. An M.D. or D.O. is required. Applicants must be board eligible or board certified in Geriatrics and have formal research training or substantial research experience.
