Welcome to the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the David Geffen School of Medicine (DGSoM) at UCLA

Christina S. Han, MD

As a proud Bruin and lifelong advocate for advancing reproductive care, it’s an incredible honor to step into this role as Interim Chair and lead

the extraordinary team of physicians, scientists, midwives, nurses, educators, advocates, leaders, innovators and staff who make up the heart and soul of UCLA Obstetrics and Gynecology.

The mission of UCLA OBGYN is to provide comprehensive personalized care for women, emphasizing the whole patient. In service of that mission, our team of compassionate doctors and nurses work together to provide expertise, balancing state-of-the-art therapies with a traditional holistic approach, in general obstetrics and gynecology as well as in the subspecialties of maternal and fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology, gynecologic oncology, minimally invasive surgery, urogynecology and family planning. We strive daily to provide world class care, close the chasm in healthcare disparities, be on the cutting edge of research, advocate for reproductive health at the regional, national and international levels, and educate our future leaders in Ob/Gyn in how to accomplish all of the above.
