I had a great experience today seeing doctor Timmons. Karen at the front desk was super helpful, friendly and made the visit easy. The nurse I saw was great as well, she was knowledgeable and also very friendly. Just wanted to say thank you.

I can't thank Maureen enough for helping me get through my first birth experience. I was really nervous and obviously didn't know what to expect, but she was amazing and guided me through the process. I was especially grateful to her for helping me get through those awful contractions - reminding me to try not to tense my shoulders up - and for coaching me on my breathing and pushing. She was so amazing and I feel like I didn't get to properly thank her, so thank you so much Maureen!

I've been seeing Dr. Yen since the Fall of 2018. I found Dr. Yen through your website and scheduled an appointment, after multiple encounters with my PCP at the time fell short of an accurate diagnosis. Dr Yen from the first time I saw him, exemplified CICARE. I never felt rushed, he listened to all of my concerns, and took the time to make an accurate diagnosis. Since I have been seeing Dr. Yen on a regular basis, my asthma has been much much better. Recently, I needed to contact Dr. Yen as I was running out of my daily inhaler (which costs over $300 without insurance). Currently, my insurance is scheduled to go active in February. Dr. Yen was nice enough to offer a few sample to tie me over and offered to bring them with him to the Torrance office so I could pick them up there. He even called me in addition to just responding on the portal. Dr Yen is not only great in his field of practice but he is definitely someone that all physicians could stand to learn from when it comes to bedside manner.

I am the wife of a patient who recently underwent complex thoracic surgery at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center for removal of a lung cancer. We were reluctant to proceed with life-saving surgery due to his advanced age and very significant cardiovascular risk, but met with his anesthesia team one day prior to surgery and were reassured by the detailed and caring assessment and the plan that was developed for his intraoperative management. The anesthesia team, which included epidural anesthesia and a pain-management strategy, was brilliantly directed by Dr. Karen Sibert, who met with us before and following my husband's lengthly operation. She also followed up with us during his surprisingly brief hospitalization. His recovery from anesthesia was rapid and uncomplicated, a tribute to Dr. Sibert's skill and experience. We want to express our deepest appreciation to UCLA thoracic anesthesia and to the incomparable thoracic surgeon Dr. Jay Lee for such excellent, life-saving care!

I want to thank Doctor Elliot Abemayor and his surgical team. Dr. Abemayor, you are truly a compassionate, empathetic, and highly skilled doctor. It did not matter how many questions I asked, you answered them honestly and in a forthright manner. You also spent quality time explaining my diagnosis, treatment plan, and surgical outcomes. I sincerely appreciated that you took the time to get to know my family and me, which greatly relieved my family's anxiety regarding my health condition. I also valued that you communicated with all my doctors so that my health care team was updated on surgical and treatment plans. I cannot thank you enough for validating my feelings, listening to my concerns, and treating me humanely and with professional courtesy. Dr.Ahern is an amazing women/ physician! She listens and lets me talk away:). She keeps me on track lol! Dr.Ahern is informative and helpful. Especially because we patients look up info on Wikipedia or internet and believe the unsourced claims!!! Believe in your doctors 8 years or more of med school and practice! Thank you Dr. Ahern for answering my novice unsourced elementary questions!
I also love that UCLA believes in letting our physicians take care of their families!! So important!! Life is not just work it is a 360 degree experience!! And every degree counts!

Dr. Elizabeth Ko is a true top-notch professional. I have seen her for general wellness care and also during a complicated urgent matter. She was superb and well-connected in the UCLA system (excellent referrals) for both situations.

Lauren is an amazing nurse. She is very kind and compassionate. She actually took time to ask what else she can do to make my stay better and chatted with me until I calm down. I had her for two nights and she is wonderful and I can feel her genuine care for her patients. We need more people like her in the healthcare industry.

So genuinely caring, considerate, personal, friendly! It may have been the best treatment by a medical office front staff that I've ever experienced, and I'm old! Everyone that I interacted with were great, also including John, Cynthia, Shemel and Anisa.

Dr. Srikanthan consistently exceeds my expectations as a patient. She is caring and takes the time to ensure her patients receive the best care possible. Most doctors make you feel rushed and spend little time with you. This is not that case with Dr. Srikanthan. She always makes me feel heard, addresses my concerns, and partners with me to best tackle my Type 1 Diabetes. I have greatly enjoyed being a patient of Dr. Srikanthan. She takes away the fear that naturally comes with going to the doctor. When I first started seeing her, my A1C was 8.0 and my numbers were out of control, never stable. Since then, she has helped me to obtain an A1C of 6.0 with her support and guidance. She would say I did it on my own, but I know that's not true--my current state of good health and control over my Type 1 Diabetes is largely credited to her and the support she provided me with. She was the best endo I could have asked for. I spent almost 15 years seeking a doctor like her, and she completely surpassed anything I could have hoped for. I recently had to switch my insurance and seek an endo closer to home. I only hope that one day I can return to be a patient of Dr. Srikanthan's. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING, Dr. Srikanthan! I will never forget you and will always hold any future endo I see up to a higher standard because of the care I received from you.

Dr. Katsman has been my physician for some time now. She is forward, clear, and caring. Recognition and praise is not just for the care that is received at the moment but knowing Dr. Katsman thinks longterm to succeed in longterm care, not just temporary.

Thank you for all you do Dr. Katsman and UCLA. Expectations exceed.
