Vincent was my 'sitter' because of a constant medical need, and during that time I started having heart palpitations. Vincent immediately got the nurse, tests were done, and what was atrial fibrillation didn't get as bad as times previous elsewhere. I credit Vincent with his quick response and perhaps keeping me alive. Otherwise he kept me company, and he's obviously a fine young man with the focus and empathy that make patients feel comfortable, safe, and confident in the great care at this hospital. She sat down to talk with me, explained everything precisely, and, most importantly, did not make the appointment feel rushed despite having many other patients to see. Dr. Maie St. John took excellent care of me in the ER where I learned I would need surgery. It was a scary evening in the ER but Dr. St John reassured me that she would be able to operate on me successfully. Her post surgery visit in the hospital confirmed that the surgery was 100% successful. Her assistant Mensa also provided excellent care and follow up. I am grateful for her expertise, compassion and patience, I did ask a ton of questions. UCLA is very fortunate to have Dr St John and her team!

Johnjay is an awesome caring person. Amazing nurse. He was so patient and calm helping me through the phone to assist my mom who doesn't know English at all.he helped me to choose the best menu order for my mom and informed me about her medical condition. He made me calm and relax. He was so polite and so sweet and nice to my mom and me. Especially during the COVID 19 challenging time he showed how a nurse could help a patient and the family feeling the best

I have repeatedly received excellent care from nurses, both during hospitalizations and in physician's offices. However, Sue Kim Saechao who needed to create IVs for me with the use of ultrasound, provided a superior experience. She explained with clarity what she would be undertaking, created a relaxed environment and invited me to learn/observe what the characteristics of the appropriate veins would need to show. Just went a step above what is already good service.

I just took my daughter in for an injured ankle. We were hesitant because of the Covid 19 virus. So glad we went. Protocols were in place to keep "well" patients separate. Staff was friendly and in genuinely good spirts. Facility was immaculate. I could feel the bleach fumes from through cleaning. Even with x-rays being taken and reviewed the visit was fast.
