I was so nervous going in as I've never really seen an allergist and am not native to LA so researching and hoping to find the right doctor is always stressful. I had such a pleasant appointment with Dr. Swain today who was so friendly and informative and really took the time to understand what was going on with me as a new patient. She and the rest of the staff at Encino including the staff who handled my blood work made me feel so well taken care of. Thank you!

Christina has gone above and beyond for me. I have a pretty complicated situation with my insurance over coverage that makes a big difference in what I will end up paying. We've been dealing with this situation since December, and she has never once lost her cool with me and advocates for me with both my insurance provider and UCLA Billing. She explains things very thoroughly, documents everything, has exact dates, reference numbers and dollar amounts each time we talk to make sure we're on the same page with the insurer. She is so organized, so kind and extremely easy to talk to. I've never worked with someone so committed to helping me access the care I need and advocating on my behalf with my insurance. Her customer service is second to none, and I think she genuinely cares about helping me resolve this issue, which means more to me than I can explain. I feel so lucky to have her as my cheerleader. One comment: I think that, even when eating very healthy, some supplements are necessary, especially under doctors ' orders! E.g., my elderly mother needs 'slo-mag', sodium tablets, calcium, and occasional other supplements, to help increase her sodium level, address balancing high blood pressure and other medical concerns. Also, due to a fall and decreased mobility and weight loss, doctors ordered the nutritional supplement "Ensure" now, so, I do believe that this supplement is helping her overall health. All supplements are not bad for everyone!

Dr. Chin has given my husband back his quality life. Dr. Chin has been upbeat from our first meeting never doubtful about the cancer treatment. His honesty and kindness have made our appointments easy to look forward to.. Dr. Chin has an amazing research assistant named Sara who maintains contact between visits. Navigating a second diagnosis of cancer our entire family has been treated so kindly. We have always been informed and know what to expect.
