Magnet® Journey

Magnet Webpage Banner

The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the credentialing arm of the American Nurses Association (ANA), established the Magnet® Recognition Program in 1990 to recognize healthcare organizations that provide excellent nursing care. Receiving Magnet® designation is the highest level of recognition the ANCC can extend to a health care organization. The rigorous process required to achieve Magnet® designation provides a framework for nursing excellence and ensures the best outcomes for our patients.
