At PASE-UCLA, we recognize that health disparities are shaped by a range of social, economic and structural factors, and that these disparities disproportionately affect low-resourced communities. Addressing these disparities is central to our mission. PASE is committed to advancing surgical equity through rigorous, evidence-based research, education and advocacy, working to identify the root causes of disparities in access to surgical and trauma care and to develop solutions that improve outcomes for the communities we serve. We welcome open dialogue and continued learning on these issues, and we invite anyone interested in this work to explore the resources below. This is an ongoing effort, and we remain committed to refining our approach as our understanding and evidence base grow. Participation in PASE's programs, research, training and partnership activities is open to all qualified individuals, regardless of race, ethnicity or other protected characteristic.
