Bariatric and minimally invasive surgery
We offer a full range of weight-loss procedures, including gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy, performed using advanced laparoscopic and robotic techniques. Our team specializes in treating obesity-related conditions and helping patients achieve long-term health improvements.
Colorectal surgery
Our colorectal specialists provide expert care for colon and rectal cancers, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), diverticulitis, and other colorectal conditions. We use minimally invasive and robotic-assisted techniques whenever appropriate, helping patients recover faster with fewer complications.
Endocrine surgery

Gastrointestinal (GI) surgery

Trauma surgery & surgical critical care
UCLA is a designated Level I Trauma Center. Our trauma and critical care surgeons provide life-saving care to patients with severe injuries and critical illnesses. The team is available 24/7 and works closely with emergency medicine, ICU, and surgical teams to deliver coordinated, immediate treatment.
