Medical Student Programs

Overview

The UCLA Department of Radiology is committed to the teaching and training of medical students and to increasing awareness among medical students and post-graduate students of the specialties of diagnostic and interventional radiology and biomedical science. We strive to improve the medical student to resident to fellowship pathway and train the next generation of radiologists and biomedical scientists. Equity, diversity and inclusion are an integral part of our academic mission.

UCLA students may participate in rotations at Ronald Reagan Medical Center, Santa Monica Hospital, the West Los Angeles VA Hospital, the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and the Olive View Medical Center. For more information, please see below.

Visiting Student Scholarship Program

The UCLA Radiology Visiting Student Scholarship Program offers financial support for senior medical students on UCLA Radiology Clerkship Rotations who demonstrate an interest in fostering equity, diversity and inclusion in healthcare professions, and in advancing efforts to reduce healthcare inequities.
