Quality Improvement in Med-Peds
What is Quality Improvement?
Quality Improvement (QI) is the data-driven formal approach to systemic and continuous analysis of organizational systems. Findings are then used to improve the quality and safety of patient care.
Med- Peds is committed to fostering an environment of discovery and improvement. A core component of quality improvement is making decisions based on data. The data mining group in this division can help with this process to obtain CareConnect data. By using a data-driven QI framework, our research has the potential to reduce variation, decrease redundancies, and improve the quality of services and health care.
