Primary Care Residents Spring Retreat 2025

Thank you for your interest in the UCLA Primary Care Program!

Our mission is to train future leaders in primary care who are exceptional healers, innovative educators, and passionate advocates who partner with patients and communities on a foundation of inclusive excellence.

We hope to build a future in which our patients can all see themselves in their physicians. We are a diverse community of primary care residents, faculty, and alumni passionate about improving the health and well-being of our communities through education, research, and advocacy. We pride ourselves in being a close-knit group committed to our patients, to one another, to our work, and to our city.  We love to spend time together in the hospital, clinic, and community.

Our three-year residency program is fully integrated with the UCLA Department of Internal Medicine Residency Program, with inpatient and outpatient rotations at UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center, UCLA Santa Monica Hospital, the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center, and Olive View-UCLA Medical Center. The program has two distinct tracks named after the resident continuity clinics. All primary care residents have two distinct continuity clinic sites, including a UCLA Health clinic (which the two tracks share) and either a VA primary care clinic or LA County primary care clinic.
