The UCLA Division of Geriatrics leads and participates in many programs to advance knowledge, improve clinical care and enhance the quality of life for older adults, from community engagement initiatives to landmark clinical trials.
Laboratories within the UCLA Division of Geriatrics conduct paradigm-shifting basic, translational, epidemiologic, clinical, health services and implementation research on a wide range of areas that are critical to the well-being of older adults, including menopause, cardiometabolic disorders, osteoporosis, sarcopenia, falls, frailty, sleep disorders, dementia and long-term care.
