Over the past several months, I have been navigating a challenging situation with patient business services since October, and Alicia's intervention has been a beacon of hope in what has been an otherwise frustrating experience. Throughout my interactions with business services, I encountered numerous obstacles and a persistent lack of resolution. Despite months of back-and-forth communication, my issues remained unresolved, and I was often passed from one representative to another, each placing the blame elsewhere. This only added to the immense stress I was already under, caring for a loved one who is frequently in and out of the hospital. When I reached out once more, feeling on the verge of a breakdown, Alicia answered the phone. Her calm and reassuring demeanor was exactly what I needed. Alicia listened to my concerns with understanding and compassion and took immediate steps to address the situation. She demonstrated exceptional intelligence and common sense, swiftly identifying and correcting the issue that had eluded resolution for so long. Alicia's dedication and empathy were a true gift. After struggling with complications for 10+ years with cancer, multiple surgeries, chemo, and Radiation, I finally found UCLA's care team. I've seen over 100 doctors for my issues and never got any results, cure, or relief. Yesterday I had my enteroscopy with Dr. Adarsh Thacker and let me just say how incredible, smart, and understanding doctor he is. I am so happy I finally got to ucla. I am finally hopeful again, after giving up on our health system. UCLA doctors and the team do REALLY care. I highly recommend ucla. Don't believe negative reviews because they had one bad experience. I had 100 bad experiences and I am telling you trust UCLA and all the amazing doctors, nurses, and staff. Thank you Dr Thacker for treating me so well and putting my mind at ease.

I have been a cancer patient for over 10 years now. I have seen over 100 doctors. I have a lot of GI complications after chemo and radiation. No doctor knew what to do with me and some doctors didn't even believe me. I finally got to UCLA. And let me just say, I have never EVER been treated this good. Finally, I found a care team, especially Dr. Benjamin Nulsen that believed me and he has been on top of everything. I gave up hope before, but now I am hopeful again. He is the best doctor I've ever met, he listens to your concerns, even if it takes an hour. He responds fast to your messages. I am extremely happy. I highly recommend Ucla and Dr Nulsen. Thank you Doc and UCLA staff for being so nice and understanding.

I participated in the ANCHOR clinical trial with Dr. Russell Johnson as my primary caregiver. He was simply amazing! His bedside manner was the absolute best. He was friendly, informative, and professional. He explained the procedures, the methodology, and the results. I could not have asked for a nicer, more caring doctor. I've been to UCLA labs all over the city and the facility in Encino is simply head and shoulders above the rest. The staff is friendly, efficient and gentle. They work hard to make you comfortable and to make your wait as short as possible. The entire staff deserves commendation for their wonderful work.

Dr. Jay Lee, I wish to express my profound gratitude for the exemplary care I received from you, your team and the entire Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center staff. More than most, I understand the years of sacrifice required by you and every staff member that enabled this care. You have created a team that express skill, intelligence and compassion.

I wish I knew the names of all that cared for me during surgery and post-operatively. Compassion, respect and consideration were present in every interaction. These values were first expressed by preoperative biopsy team led by Dr. Reza Ronaghi.

I was impressed by the head nurse in post anesthesia recovery, Alma, Ruby, Shelia, Tess, Satenik and others. The first post-op night Stephanie was literally an angel and I will never forget her.

I underwent robotic thoracotomy with left lower lobe resection under the magnificent care of Dr. Jay Lee's thoracic team. My first post op night nurse Stephanie took care of me. I had a corneal abrasion and Stephanie patched my eye giving me great relief. The entire UCLA team were amazing, but Stephanie communicated such profound empathy and caring that I felt completely comfortable in her hands. I feel totally fortunate to get my healthcare through UCLA.

My wife and I, In the past two years, have used many physicians and services at UCLA Health offices throughout Conejo Valley, Simi Valley, Calabasas, and Westwood, including the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. I feel compelled to give you our feedback on your organization. My wife and I have had an excellent experience with every single physician and UCLA Health staff member we have dealt with. We are grateful for the expert and lifesaving care we have both received. We continue to be amazed with every aspect of how UCLA Health operates. The patient portal is excellent for making appointments, communicating with our Doctors, and accessing our records. All of our Doctors have been kind, demonstrated a sincere interest in our welfare, and provided excellent care. All the facilities we have visited have been modern and perfectly maintained. In the past two weeks, my wife and I both visited Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center hospital in Westwood for a surgical procedure and diagnostic test. Simply a great hospital; from the valet parking, efficient admissions process, beautiful facility, and latest state-of-the-art technology supported by outstanding Doctors and staff - WOW! I told my wife I never thought I would say it, but I loved visiting the hospital (Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center). I only wish that the rest of the world ran like UCLA Health. Your organization is a model for efficiency, patient/customer focus, caring for the physical and emotional needs of your patients, and delivery of lifesaving medical care on a world-class level. Hello my sister's care partner for the night was named Gisel and I am beyond grateful for her. She made my sister and our family feel comfortable right off the bat when she recognized our language barrier. She spoke to us in Spanish which we greatly appreciate that way all of our family could understand what she was doing. She also made us feel welcomed and talked to us as people, not patients. We connected and she built a relationship with us. She made sure that my sister never needed anything. She also ensured we were comfortable and didn't need anything as well whenever she walked through the door. What really grasped my attention was that before my family and I left we all prayed together. My family and I are catholic and so was Gisel. She took the moment to sit down and pray with us! None of the care partners my sister has had have done that for her. She prayed with us and sat from beginning to end! I appreciate the time and effort Gisel made to understand that religion is a big part of our family and respecting it. But also participating. She touched all of our souls and hearts and she is in my opinion the best. My family and I will never forget about this and we hope to see her all the time when we come back to visit! She is very hardworking, genuine, humble, and noble! Truly a great addition to the UCLA hospital!

Dr. Rashmi Rao is truly an amazing OBGYN. I moved from DC to La late in my pregnancy and she has been my doctor for all of my third trimester. Nurse Judith truly cares about her patients. Out of all the nurses that offered to help me she truly demonstrated how she can help. She was attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout her shift. Some nurses only come visit during medications and as needed for NST, but she went above and beyond to make sure I felt cared for. Words can't express my gratitude which is why I wanted to leave a compliment on the app to thank her for her generosity in care. She reminds me so much of my OBGYN Dr. Rao who is also very attentive to her patients and should be a guiding light to other nurses to go the extra mile.
