Eligibility and Donor Self-Screening Information
Please review the following information to help determine if you are eligible to donate:

ATTENTION PLATELET DONORS
Donors taking NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) will be deferred from platelet donation for 2 full days from their last dose. Common examples include ibuprofen, naproxen, diclofenac, indomethacin, meloxicam, and celecoxib. For example, if the last dose was taken on Monday, you may not donate platelets until Thursday. (Please contact us if you have any questions).

Do not give blood if:
- You have reason to believe you might be sick with COVID-19 or any illness.
Masking is not required but strongly recommended during your donation.

All donations are made strictly on a volunteer basis.
There is never any monetary reimbursement for a blood donation at UCLA.
