August Monthly Chat: Celebrating Life
Join us on August 1st from 5 PM to 6 PM to learn from CORE Kidney’s experts, Dr. Ramon Durazo and Christina Lopez. This program is hosted by Anjay Rastogi, MD, PhD, and the UCLA Health CORE Kidney Team! Please try to attend this significant kidney disease educational event where we will discuss kidney health in Spanish! This webinar will be a very interactive session where you can ask questions during the event. You can also email us your questions in advance to [email protected], and we will incorporate them into the program. This event is for patients, caregivers, and the general public.

Kidney disease is extremely prominent within the United States, with almost 35.5 million Americans diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease with an additional ⅓ Americans at risk. Yet, due to a lack of public awareness and insufficient early diagnosis efforts within the healthcare system, almost 9/10 adults with Kidney Disease remain undiagnosed. UCLA CORE Kidney Float at the Rose Parade
January 1, 2025
At the beginning of the year, over 800,000 people attended, and millions more watched from across the world as CORE Kidney's 2025 "It's In Your Hands: It Takes 2" Float paraded down the streets of Pasadena during the 2025 Rose Parade. In the previous years of being a part of this parade, the float won the prestigious 2024 Isabella Coleman Award for the most outstanding presentation of color and color harmony through floral design.
