Awardees are selected for their exemplary contributions to the field of medicine, their advocacy for the advancement of women physicians and commitment to transforming the face of medicine through teaching, leadership and mentorship.
Throughout her 30-year-medical career, Dr. Nicholas has provided top-tier healthcare to women from all walks of life and helped to shape the future generation of clinicians, driven by a desire to influence young physicians to practice compassionate care. Her dedication to reducing health disparities, especially among communities of color, has been a cornerstone of her work.
