Molecular Analysis for Precision Surgery in Thyroid Cancer (MAPS) Trial
This study examines whether genomic information from thyroid biopsy samples can help guide less extensive surgery for patients with intermediate-risk thyroid cancer, reducing risk while maintaining excellent cancer outcomes.
High-Risk Mutations in Thyroid Cancer
UCLA Endocrine Surgery is studying aggressive genomic profiles in thyroid cancer to better predict outcomes and guide targeted therapies for patients who may benefit most.
Medullary Thyroid Cancer: Recurrence and Surgical De-escalation
This research focuses on patterns of recurrence in medullary thyroid cancer to refine surgical treatment and improve long-term surveillance, including collaboration with centers across the country.
