The Pediatric Arthritis Clinic at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital involves our three pediatric rheumatologists along with specialists from other departments who provide evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA).
Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), also known as juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA) or juvenile chronic arthritis (JCA) is an autoimmune disease that causes chronic inflammation of the joints. . It may involve one or many joints, and cause other symptoms such as fevers, rash and/or eye inflammation.
Our multi-disciplinary expert team provides an integrated and coordinated approach to care and will create a treatment plan specific to your child's needs.
