Outpatient Care

“In the same way that children are not just young adults, older individuals are not just older adults. They have different physiologies and specialized needs from their younger selves.”

— Dr. Harris

Personalized Care for Older Adults

UCLA geriatricians care for older adults at every stage of health. Our goal is to help each patient achieve their personal health goals and maintain the best possible quality of life.

We offer two types of outpatient care:

  • Primary Care: We serve as your main doctor, managing preventive care, urgent needs, and coordination with specialists.
  • Consultative Care: We partner with your primary care provider to offer expert guidance on age-related health concerns.

Outpatient services are available at our Westwood, Simi Valley, and Westlake Village clinics. We also collaborate with other UCLA programs focused on supporting the well-being of older adults.

Whether managing chronic illness, navigating acute issues, or providing palliative care, we’re here to guide you with compassion, clarity, and respect.
