The Science of Sleep, Memory & Trauma
A NeuroNote collection that lets you explore UCLA-curated research in a new way. Ask big questions at any level of understanding.

Putting PTSD to Rest
The power of the sleeping brain
I study how sleep helps the brain learn, remember and recover. I curated this NeuroNote collection to help you explore the connections among PTSD, memory and sleep. Inside are key papers and explainers on memory consolidation and reconsolidation, and how different sleep stages (REM and non-REM) affect emotion and well-being.
My goal is for you to use this collection to ask questions at any level of understanding, from basic to advanced, to make complex ideas easier to understand.
