Pediatric Palliative Care

The UCLA Pediatric Palliative Care Program is dedicated to alleviating pain and managing symptoms for children with serious illness and supporting their families. Our overall goal is to provide care that improves the quality of life for our patients and families.

We also educate health professional students, residents, fellows and UCLA Medical Staff to promote understanding of best practices in pediatric pain management and pediatric palliative care.

Our program has three priority areas:

• Inpatient Consultation
• Bereavement Support
• Palliative Care Research
