Applications
The University of California, Los Angeles Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology accepts applications through ResidencyCAS. Only documentation submitted through ResidencyCAS will be reviewed.

In line with national recommendations and for the safety of all, interviews will be conducted virtually.
2025 Match and Application Review
- Application Review: September 30 - October 24, 2025
- Interview Invitations Sent: October 28, 2025
- Application Deadline: September 24, 2025
Applications must include:
- ResidencyCAS common application
- Personal statement
- CV (generated through ResidencyCAS)
- USMLE Step I
- Medical school transcripts
- Three letters of recommendation (one must be a chair letter or SLOE, another preferably from an OBGYN). Letters due by September 24, 2025.
- NOTE: Include the PMID number when listing publications.
Important Dates
- September 24, 2025: Begin reviewing applications.
- Tuesday, October 28, 2025: Invitations to interview sent out.
- Confirm or deny interview invitations within 48 hours.
- September 24 - November 26, 2025: Applications received or completed after September 24 will be considered for waitlist status only.
- November 26, 2025: Application process closes.

- Friday, November 7: 12 PM – 5 PM
- Saturday, November 8: 7 AM – 12 PM
- Friday, November 21: 12 PM – 5 PM
- Saturday, November 22: 7 AM – 12 PM
- Friday, December 5: 12 PM – 5 PM
- Saturday, December 6: 7 AM – 12 PM
Interview Day Logistics: Details will be provided upon acceptance of the interview invitation. The process typically lasts from 12 PM to 5 PM on Fridays and 7 AM to 12 PM on Saturdays.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
Minimum USMLE Scores: There are no minimum USMLE score requirements; scores are blinded to ensure a holistic review.
Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.) Applicants: Submit USMLE scores in addition to COMLEX scores.
International Medical Graduates: No additional policies for IMGs. All applicants are considered based on their merits once minimum application requirements are met.
Requirements for IMGs:
- Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certificate.
