Grand Rounds: RA-ILD: Considerations in Treatment and Screening

Presenter: Scott M. Matson, MD

Dr. Matson studied medicine at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Following graduation he completed internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Colorado in Denver. He was selected in 2017 as chief medical resident at the University of Colorado. Following chief residency he completed a combined pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the University of Colorado and National Jewish Hospital. During his fellowship, Dr. Matson pursued advanced training in interstitial lung disease at the University of Colorado Center for Lungs and Breathing as well as National Jewish Hospital. At the University of Kansas, Dr. Matson sees patients in the Interstitial Lung Disease and Rare Lung Disease clinic as well as attends in the medical intensive care unit. He is a clinician scientist with a translational research focus of autoimmune lung disease.
