Standing on the foundation of Exceptional, Distinguished and Individualized Care (EDI) and the commitments of our community, the image on the right reflects the mission of our mEDI-pEDI committee. We are committed to advancing excellence in clinical care and education for all patient populations, with particular attention to ensuring comprehensive, high-quality care for individuals facing complex or less commonly addressed medical needs. As Med-Peds physicians, we strive to improve health outcomes for both adults and children through our five foundational areas: Clinical Care, Scholarship, Education, Recruitment, and Stakeholder Engagement. The UCLA mEDI-pEDI fosters innovation and leadership tailored to the unique dual-discipline focus of internal medicine and pediatrics.
