Applications Overview

The Division of General Internal Medicine and Health Services Research, Medicine–Pediatrics Section, Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA invites applications for its Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Residency.

This full-time, one-year residency is designed for pre-licensed clinical psychologists seeking advanced training in evidence-based treatments for mental health conditions commonly encountered in interdisciplinary community and primary care settings.

Residents will work with adult and pediatric populations, including individuals with chronic conditions and patients experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, or ADHD. Training occurs across UCLA Health clinics and community partner organizations, offering exposure to diverse Los Angeles populations and integrated care models.

Residents will rotate through multiple clinic settings, engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with primary care providers, and accrue postdoctoral hours toward California licensure under the supervision of licensed UCLA Health psychologists. Participation in weekly didactics and completion of a scholarly, quality improvement, or advocacy project by month nine of the residency are also required.
