Admission Requirements

Postdoctoral residents must have completed a PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology by the residency start date, as well as completion of a pre-doctoral internship. An APA-accredited graduate program and internship are preferred, but not required. 

Compensation and Certification

Postdoctoral residents will be paid an annual salary, in addition to UCLA GME resident benefits. Pre-licensure coursework specific to CA licensure will also be subsidized fully by the program. This program is being funded by a Graduate Psychology Education grant provided by the Health Resources and Services Administration. 

Upon program completion, fellows will receive a certificate of completion signed by Program Director, Dr. Marco Hidalgo, and Chair for the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Dr. E. Dale Abel.
