IM REACH Committee
Welcome to the UCLA Internal Medicine Residents Engaged in Advocacy, Community, and Healing (IM REACH) committee. Learn more about IM REACH through the links below.
Mission Statement
The IM REACH committee is a group of residents, faculty, and staff that aims to advance extraordinary patient-centered health outcomes for all patients by offering curricular innovation for residency training; developing physician leaders that respect and embrace the communities we serve; advance mentorship within our field; and support outreach into communities across the greater Los Angeles area.
Who We Are
IM REACH is comprised of current internal medicine residents elected each year to serve as subcommittee leaders. The committee is supported by faculty advisors, the associate program director and chief resident for inclusive excellence, and the spectrum liaison chief resident.
What We Do
The committee works diligently to maintain a dynamic curriculum that upholds inclusive excellence, hosts events to build community amongst residents, and works in collaboration with the Minority Housestaff Organization to offer mentorship to medical students.
