Dr. Tony Lin is a primary care physician who practices at UCLA Health MPTF Toluca Lake location in Burbank. He is board certified in family medicine.
Dr. Lin received his medical degree from the Loma Linda University School of Medicine, and completed his residency at the Glendale Family Practice Residency Program. He received his undergraduate degree from La Sierra University.
Prior to joining UCLA Health, Dr. Lin worked for Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills and at the South Bay Medical Center. He started working as a physician for the Motion Picture Television Fund, which was later acquired by UCLA Health, in 2008.

It's always good to visit with a professional doctor that cares and is a listener. Dr. Lin should be looked at as a model doctor for others to learn from. I don't like being treated like a textbook case and don't like when some doctors are fixed on a certain condition or illness they "believe" that you may have. Think robot or programmed mode if that makes sense. Dr. Lin is NOT like that and keeps an open mind knowing that sometimes certain patients know their bodies...He listens then combines his professional experience to guide you in the right direction for healing or treatment. I checked in at my appointment time. I wasn’t kept waiting long at all. I saw Dr. Lin after I was weighed, blood pressure/temperature taken and going over meds. It was a follow up visit. I am still feeling tired 95% of the time. I am hoping that it has to do with the loss of my husband. It has been 7 months since his passing. I was his caregiver since 2016 when all of this started. It was slow in the beginning but he continued to go downhill each year w/various illnesses. We have a plan to see me in 3 months after I try some other suggestions by him. Dr. Lin was good to listen to what came up for me in our office visit. We went over another test I had done not that long ago. I felt like he listened.

I am always happy to see Dr. Lin and was able to see him today for my annual physical. I didn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes to get taken to a room and have my vitals checked. I saw the doctor after that and had blood drawn and I was out of the clinic in 40 minutes.

I listed a checklist of issues, and he made sure to hit each and every one. I wish that physical exams at his facility included looking at the patient's body and checking it more thoroughly (skin, moles, joints, reflexes, etc)
