Sipan Mathevosian, MD

Dr. Sipan Mathevosian is a vascular interventional specialist at UCLA. He is board certified in Vascular Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Mathevosian obtained his medical degree from Chicago Medical School where he received letters of distinction and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) National Medical Honor Society. He completed a yearlong internship in general surgery, followed by residency in diagnostic and interventional radiology at UCLA. He served as Chief Resident and received several accolades, including the John R. Bentson Award for Clinical Excellence, Outstanding Senior Resident Award, and Senior Nighthawk Award. Upon completion of his training, he accepted a faculty position as Clinical Assistant Professor in the UCLA Division of Interventional Radiology, Department of Radiological Sciences.

Dr. Mathevosian performs minimally invasive, image-guided, endovascular and cross-sectional interventions. His clinical interest and expertise are in the evaluation and treatment of vascular disease, interventional cancer therapies, and embolization procedures. He evaluates and treats patients at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center, UCLA Health North Hollywood Imaging and Interventional Center, and UCLA Health Palos Verdes Imaging and Interventional Center.
