Satoshi Tateshima, MD
- Interventional Neuroradiology
About
Dr. Tateshima is fully trained in interventional neuroradiology and subspeciality board certified in CNS endovascular surgery. He specialized in acute stroke interventions, complex brain vascular malformations, complex congenital head&neck vascular malformations, venous stenosis and stenting, carotid artery disease, brain aneurysm treatment, brain AVM treatment using state-of-the-art minimally invasive imaging guided techniques. H offers minimally invasive treatments to pulsatile tinnitus if it is caused by vascular malformations.
Dr. Tateshima is a leading expert in neuro-intervention with a strong focus on innovation. He performed world's first complete robotic embolization treatment for facial and cranial hemorrhagic conditions in 2022. He holds an active NIH grant on robotic intervention. He is the Principal Investigator for the international clinical trial, Cognitive Study, which evaluates a link between stroke treatment and cognitive improvement.
Dr. Tateshima plays a pivotal role in the scientific community, serving as the chair of an international conference, and an executive board member of national and international conferences.
