About
Dr. Sami Natour is a general cardiologist who practices in Thousand Oaks. He is passionate about preventive cardiology and is committed to providing evidence-based and personalized care to his patients. He strives to understand each patient’s unique risk profile to tailor strategies for cardiovascular risk reduction. In addition, Dr. Natour treats a broad range of cardiovascular diseases, including coronary artery disease, valvular heart diseases, abnormal heart rhythms (arrhythmias), pericardial diseases, and congestive heart failure.
After graduating from Duke University, he earned a medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He went on to complete a residency in internal medicine and fellowship in cardiology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, gaining extensive training and expertise in cardiovascular health and advanced cardiac imaging. Dr. Natour is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC).
As a clinical instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, Dr. Natour is dedicated to medical education and teaches cardiology fellows at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Westwood. In his free time, he enjoys playing pickleball and spending time with his wife and son.

Dr. Natour was very thorough. I have never seen a cardiologist, and he asked a lot of pertinent questions to learn about my health, family history and lifestyle habits. During my exam and evaluation, he clearly explained upcoming procedures, diagnoses and treatment options. He has a great bedside manner, and quickly built rapport with me as a patient.
