Dr Barata always takes time to ensure my understanding of areas of concern. She explains complex medical jargon so I can understand the issues and options.

My first contact with Dr. Barata was a virtual visit. I needed approval for an extension ofy physical therapy visits.Dr. Barata was very thorough in assessing my need based ony description of my injuries. She reviewed my medications and my progress to date and set an appt. to have an in-person visit in January. I. was very impressed.

Such a great experience, felt cared for and heard!

I waited months to see her for my annual physical, she cancelled my appointment the day of a few weeks ago because she called out for the day. I rebooked for a 7:30 AM first appointment of the day for today. She came into the examination room at 7:55 AM. I was warned by the nurse that Dr. Burata often runs behind. I needed to leave for work at 8:00 AM to drive to LA for a meeting I was presenting at. I waited months for 5 minutes of care to know what I already knew, I have no obvious chronic disease. I was so frustrated and angry, the lack of consideration and professionalism was appalling. There was no apology. To spend more than half her life to become a physician to then treat patients in such an off putting way boggles my mind!

This is my first experience with Dr Barata and This office. The doctor was exceptional.
