Gabriela Rodriguez Melgoza, MD

Dr. Gabriela Rodriguez is a primary care physician who practices Internal Medicine in Simi Valley. She is interested in providing preventative care and managing chronic diseases. She believes in listening to her patients and providing patient education so they may make informed decisions regarding their health. She has a passion for providing culturally competent care and is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Rodriguez earned her undergraduate degree at UCLA. She went on to earn her medical degree from Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Pennsylvania. She finally completed her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. As a resident Dr. Rodriguez was awarded the Ben-Newman Award for Excellence in Patient Care. During residency she worked at the Saban Community Clinic where she provided care for the underserved populations of Los Angeles.

She grew up in Ventura County and is happy to be back. She looks forward to giving back to her community through community outreach programs, medical student education and free clinics. Outside of the office, Dr. Rodriguez greatly enjoys spending time with her family, hiking in the mountains and getting lost in a good book.
