Preceptorship Requests and Placement covers many types of nursing school programs.

Common Programs: 

  • BSN
  • MSN - Education, Administration, Leadership, etc.
  • MSN- Nurse Practitioner* (AGACNP, FNP, PMHNP, etc)
  • MSN - Clinical Nurse Specialist
  • DNP
  • PhD

**For these program students, you will need to complete specific training before receiving your AD access (UCLA-specific login).

Important Note: The student or school coordinator should not be in contact with the preceptor and/or onsite at assigned facility until the student receives clearance.

Below is the matrix for the calendar year for when requests open and close. 

  • Requests will not be available past the “Requests Close” date.
