Joshua Hyong-Jin Cho, MD, PhD, MSc, FAPA is Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, and Founding Director of the UCLA Insomnia Clinic. Dr. Cho's clinical activities are focused on the treatment of insomnia and depression.

Stella Chow, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist at UCLA Semel Institute. She is a Certified Mindfulness Teacher, Professional Level (CMTP 0151) through the International Mindfulness Teachers Association. She received her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from UCLA and her Doctor of Psychology from Alliant International University, California School of Professional Psychology. 

Kim Lorine, PhD, is a licensed Psychologist in the UCLA Insomnia Clinic in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. Dr. Lorine completed her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology in 2000 and Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology in 2005. I

Sara Assar, PsyD., MMFT, is a licensed clinical and behavioral medicine psychologist at UCLA Semel Institute. Dr. Assar obtained her degrees from University of Southern California and California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Clinical Health Psychology.

Nicole Barkopoulos, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist providing psychotherapy at the UCLA Insomnia Clinic. Ms. Barkopoulos completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Connecticut, and her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. Her clinical activities are focused on the treatment of insomnia, anxiety, depression, as well as couples therapy.

Jay Nagdimon, PhD, ABPP is a clinical psychologist in the UCLA Insomnia Clinic in the David Geffen School of Medicine.  He received his PhD from California School of Professional Psychology and is a Diplomat with the American Board of Professional Psychology specializing in Police and Public Safety Psychology.

Michael Fresé, PhD, is a Psychologist at the UCLA Insomnia Clinic. He received his Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco, and both his Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology from Pacific Graduate School of Psychology. Dr. Fresé completed his internship at the Salt Lake City VA and his postdoctoral fellowship at the West Los Angeles VA.

Brianna M. Hardt, PhD, is a clinical psychologist at the UCLA Insomnia Clinic. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Loma Linda University. Dr. Hardt completed her internship at the Sepulveda VA Ambulatory Care Center and her two-year postdoctoral residency specializing in neuropsychology at the West Los Angeles VA. Her clinical interests include the assessment and treatment of sleep difficulties, as well as neuropsychological assessment in adults.

Charles Ray, PsyD, is a Psychologist at the UCLA Insomnia Clinic. He received his Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, a Master of Arts in General Psychology from New York University, and a Master of Science in Clinical Research from Fordham University, before getting his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Javier Iribarren, PsyD, MSW, is a licensed clinical psychologist at the UCLA Insomnia Clinic in the David Geffen School of Medicine. He received his doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University and his master’s degree in clinical social welfare from UCLA. Dr. Iribarren provides bilingual care in English and Spanish for adults and older adults.

Amada Battista, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist with a clinical focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Ms. Battista earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy, from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Andrea L. Jamison, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist at the UCLA Insomnia Clinic. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University, Brooklyn, and completed her postdoctoral training at the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System.Dr. Jamison specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for Insomnia (ACT-I) and other behavioral sleep medicine interventions. She is licensed in California and Virginia.

Jeffrey Young, PhD, CBSM, DBSM is a psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of sleep, mood, and anxiety disorders. Dr. Young is Associate Clinical Professor at the Semel Institute of Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA. He has been on the UCLA faculty for the past 16 years, teaches at the school of medicine, and lectures to various departments within UCLA Psychiatry. 

Stephanie Kremer, PsyD, is an Attending Psychologist in the UCLA Insomnia Clinic and Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. Dr. Kremer’s clinical emphasis is in the areas of Health Psychology / Behavioral Medicine and her background includes extensive work in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia and Chronic Pain. 

Ani Vartazarian, Psy.D. is an Attending Psychologist in the UCLA Insomnia Clinic and Clinical Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. She has expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy for mood, anxiety, and sleep concerns.

Anthony E. Reading, MPhil, PhD is a psychologist and a Clinical Professor, having been trained and worked in England before joining UCLA in 1981. He is currently on the clinical faculty and has a background in cognitive behavioral psychotherapy.

Paul Barkopoulos, MD, MPH serves as a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Dr. Barkopoulos received from UCLA his undergraduate degree in Psychobiology, master’s degree in public health, and medical degree, before completing his post-graduate training at the UCLA-Sepulveda Veterans Psychiatry Program. Current clinical areas of focus include insomnia and gero-psychiatry.
