  • Medical records from other providers
  • Previous imaging on a CD or film, along with the imaging notes from your provider
  • Referral, if your insurance plan requires one

Dress comfortably for your visit. Your doctor will need to examine the area that’s hurting or injured. You may want to wear shorts or a short-sleeved shirt to allow easy access to this area.

Allow one to two hours for your visit. Your physician will spend as much time with you as needed for a thorough evaluation and customized care plan.

UCLA Health is a teaching hospital. That means orthopedic fellows and residents, nurses and technicians may assist with your care. These team members have special training and skills that make them a crucial part of our team. All physicians-in-training always work under the supervision of our attending physicians.

UCLA Health bills your insurance provider for your visit. Our policy is to collect all copays, deductibles and fees not covered by insurance at the time of your visit. Find out more about the health insurances we accept.

If you don’t have insurance, full payment is expected when we provide you services. We accept personal checks, MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover cards.
