General Gastroenterology

Personalized care for your digestive health needs

The Melvin and Bren Simon Digestive Diseases Center at UCLA Health provides expert care for a wide range of digestive conditions, from common concerns such as constipation, acid reflux (GERD), diarrhea, hemorrhoids, and gallstones to more complex disorders. Foodborne illnesses and Clostridioides difficile (C. diff) infections are also becoming more common.

Because many digestive conditions share similar symptoms—including abdominal pain, bloating, and changes in bowel habits—an accurate diagnosis is essential. Our board-certified gastroenterologists use advanced diagnostic tools, minimally invasive procedures, and the latest technology to deliver timely, personalized care.

Working closely with integrative GI health practitioners and other UCLA Health specialists, we provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment tailored to each patient's needs. Our endoscopy centers offer a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services, including colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, and other advanced procedures.
