Clinical and Operative Experience

Breadth

Along with their rotations at UCLA, the trainees rotate at the West Los Angeles VA.  The diversity of these two facilities enhances fellow exposure to a rich array of clinical problems, healthcare systems and patient populations.

Operative Experience

During their time here, fellows are exposed to over 2000 annual cases varying from heart, heart-lung transplants, robotic cases, congenital cases, and adult cardiac and thoracic cases.
