Excellence in Medicine Visiting Student Scholarship
The Department of Radiation Oncology is excited to announce that we will again be offering an Excellence in Medicine Visiting Student Elective Stipend. This opportunity was created to serve as a recruitment tool for senior medical students who've demonstrated excellence in training and have an interest in applying to the UCLA Radiation Oncology residency program. The $2,250 stipend opportunity supports the travel and lodging expenses to 2(two) 4th year medical students. All are encouraged to apply.
Application deadline is June 30 of each academic year.

Please include the following attachments with your email:
- Personal statement that describes your interest in the UCLA Radiation Oncology elective, traveled path, and any relevant academic, clinical, or extracurricular experiences that have contributed to your interest in the field. (minimum 500 word limit)
- One letter of recommendation from a faculty member, advisor, or mentor (this individual does not have to be in the field of Radiation Oncology)
