The UCLA Medical Physics Residency Program either recruits candidates directly or participates in the Medical Physics Matching Program.  The decision of participating in MedPhys Matching or not will be made prior to the opening of the matching process.  If the decision is made for participating in Match, residency applications will be accepted using the AAPM Medical Physics Residency Application Program (MP-RAP) between October and December. The UCLA Department of Radiation Oncology residency admission committee will review and rank the applications and will interview top candidates.

Application Cycle July 2026:

The program will participate post all information regarding the 2026-2027 academic year. The program will recruit to fill 3 open positions.
