The CDI, established through initial philanthropic funding to UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital and the Department of Pediatrics at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, encourages multidisciplinary child health research and research training at UCLA across the spectrum of basic, translational, clinical, and health services research.
