Application Process

Applications for the next academic year open in March.  We encourage you to start the application process early in order to avoid delays.

UCLA accepts applications submitted through Visiting Student Application Service (VSLO) for electives. In your VSLO Application, please include the documents listed below:

  • Letter of Recommendation
  • Health Insurance
  • HIPAA Privacy and Information Security Training
  • DGSOM Photo ID Application - All VSLO applications must include a Photo ID Application:
  • UCLA MITS Confidentiality Statement

Additionally, please complete and send the following survey to Kimberly Merida-Chan.
