Our residency program offers dedicated career development tracks designed for residents eager to deepen their expertise in specific fields, including the Inclusive Excellence Track, the Global Health Track, the Clinician Educator Development Track, and the Research Development Track

Inclusive Excellence Track
Through the Inclusive Excellence Track, residents will gain an in depth understanding on social determinants of health that impact access to neurological care, participation in clinical trials, as well as health outcomes across different neurological conditions.
Global Health Track
Our Global Health Track offers neurology residents the opportunity to gain invaluable international clinical experience through established partnerships with health institutions in Mexico City, Thailand, Uganda, Zambia, and London. This track extends beyond clinical experience by offering dedicated academic advising and guiding residents in developing impactful global health research projects.
Clinician Educator Development Track
The Clinician Educator Track is designed to cultivate the next generation of neurology clinician-educators. This track equips residents with essential skills in teaching best practices, curriculum development, and educational scholarship, tailored to each resident’s individual interests and career goals.
Research Development Track
The Research Development Track trains neurology residents in either basic or clinical science research through direct investigative study, oral and written scientific presentation, and intensive mentored career development. The structure of the training program incorporates mentoring, focused time on oral and written presentations, with a culmination in the production of a career development (K series) grant in the final year of the residency for each trainee.
