About Palliative Care Research
The mission of the Palliative Care Research Center is to support a palliative care learning health system at UCLA and the VA that promotes high quality care for all patients with serious illness; impacts national policy; and integrates innovative models and methods both locally and nationally.
The center aims to provide a robust, diverse academic community for palliative care research at UCLA and the VA as well as infrastructure to support faculty and trainees with an interest in palliative care research across the department of medicine. The center also offers educational opportunities for faculty and trainees on the topic of palliative care research.
