Application

Starting in 2020, the UCLA Addiction Medicine Fellowship adopted the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Please refer to the ERAS Fellowship Documents Office (EFDO) for details on how to register and complete the application visit their website. 

Please note that should you match with our program, you will be expected to obtain a California medical license by September 30, 2025. Currently, the processing time varies between 6-9 months. As such, we highly recommend that you take the USMLE Step 3 prior to December 1, 2025. If you are an international medical graduate and do not have a California medical license, please contact Carole Barrinuevo, the Medical Education Manager, for clarification of your eligibility for our program. For details regarding licensure in California please refer to the California Medical Board website.
