Why I chose UCLA: "I chose UCLA for critical care fellowship for multiple reasons. The opportunity to train across multiple high-acuity ICUs, work alongside leaders in critical care as a tight-knit team, and learning from a complex patient population were big factors. I am excited to learn a lot at UCLA and carry it forward into my future career.

Dr. Louis Nguyen is excited to be relocating all the way to the west side of LA from the east side of LA to pursue his two-year fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at UCLA after training in Emergency Medicine at Los Angeles General Medical Center. Outside of medicine, he has a diverse set of interests, including dabbling in tech, playing games, being outside backpacking, making a cup of coffee, or even learning a new hobby.
