DAPM at 38th Annual OAS Scientific Meeting

The 38th Annual OAS Scientific Meeting last month in Dallas was a huge success!  We thank our speakers, board members, supporters and attendees for creating a collegial environment and providing such high caliber education.

List of talks are as follows:

  1. Dr Hall and Dr Krol Prabhu - Updates in Malignant Hyperthermia
  2. Dr Neagle and Dr Hassan - Fire Safety in Oculoplastics Surgery
  3. Dr. Ziv - Wellness and burnout in Anesthesia Care
  4. Dr Fang - Remimazolam
  5. Dr Trieu - Pediatridc case studies: when things don’t go well
  6. Dr Hall, Dr Neagle, Dr Liew - Controversies in Ophthalmic Anesthesia

This was the first time that residents were invited to present, and Dr Krol-Prabhu and Dr Hassan's presentations were very well received. It generated a lot of questions and interest from the audience with questions and discussions that extended into the break time. This meeting was organized by the OAS, of which Dr Liew is a board member and member of the meeting organization committee.
