Papaya Milk

Preparation time: 10 minutes
Servings: 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups ripe papaya (~½ medium papaya)
  • 1 cup whole milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions:

  1. Wash and dry the outside of the papaya. Cut in half and scoop the seeds out with a spoon.
  2. Peel the papaya and cut into small 1-inch cubes.
  3. Combine 2 cups papaya, 1 cup milk, and 1 cup ice in a blender. Blend on medium speed until smooth. Serve and enjoy.
  4. Optional: Sweeten with 1 tsp condensed milk.

Note

Papaya milk does not store well in the fridge, as the enzymes can break down milk proteins and cause the drink to taste bitter.
